We sincerely appreciate your support to SPEC in the past few years. SPEC research program is now strategically integrated into the new NSF Gen-III Engineering Research Center (ERC), The FREEDM Systems Center. Therefore the FREEDM Systems Center website contains more up-to-date  information about our research and education programs, as well as opportunities for new students and industry companies.

Additional research activities are also taking place in the new Advanced Transportation Energy Center (ATEC) in the areas of Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and its interactions with the electric power grid.
